The Box Youth Project

Working with The Box to incorporate Dance into there programme across all the classes, to increase accessibility and opportunity for people to participate in Dance sessions as well as being part of Dance performances.

In 2023 we worked together to put on a Christmas Performance and in 2024 we collaborated again to showcase a bigger performance based on the Environment and Climate Change. All performances also incorporated a Makaton element to increase everyone's knowledge and awareness of this too.

Also worked with The Box to offer dance sessions during the school holidays.  Here's to more exciting work coming soon...

Learning a new way CIC

Work with Learning a new way CIC at various intervals throughout the year, offering Dance, Sensory and Makaton sessions as part of their holiday clubs.

Also going to be working with them to offer a Staff Development session, whereby we will focus on learning some Makaton Signs as well as calming/regulating activities and ideas for them to implement within their sessions.

The Sensory Place

Work with The Sensory Place is various ways,  previously ran sessions which focussed on learning Makaton and enhancing social skills through songs, use of props and dancing.

As well as most recently creating Makaton videos for them based on various topics such as the Seasons and key events throughout the year; which they then share with their network of families and people whom they support.

If you are interested and want to chat about how we could collaboate, then please do get in touch, it would be great to hear from you!
